While I am sure Natalia Benoit wishes she had chosen her words better, she is still an embarrassment to the Niagara Catholic District School Board.

While the debate about defunding Catholic schools continues, representatives like Benoit and Joe Bruzzese are worried about flying a flag signalling respect and support for all students.

While the next election is not till 2026, Catholic school supporters can voice their disapproval by directing their school taxes to the public board.
