10th annual Niagara Falls Night(s) of Art showcasing local talent

Event taking place today to Sunday on Queen Street

The 10th annual Niagara Falls Night(s) of Art will take place over four days, starting today at 5 p.m. and running until Sunday at 9 p.m.

The event celebrates local musicians, artists and Niagara’s culture.

Due to developments going on behind Niagara Falls History Museum, the event will take place on the front lawn of city hall and the surrounding Queen Street area.

The free event will feature visual art displays with the theme Lawn Party.

Artists and installations will include Ashley Marazzo with the upcycled and glow-in-thedark “Flourish” and Emma Lee Fleury’s earthly-elements “Portal.”

Joanne Ring will bring “Picture This,” consisting of historic images of Niagara Falls during celebrations and additions of colour and flowers. Victoria Brecht will present an interactive mandala.

Other artists will include Emily Andrews with a large collagestyle mural, Sarah Carter with an upcycled heart on the city hall lawn and Joe Cleary with a group of robots.

Saturday will feature Egan Henderson and his Virtual Reality gallery at Third Space Café, Sara Lou Stuart performing acrobatics and the musical stylings of DJ Marinko.

Parking on the street or at municipal lots after 5 p.m. is free, however, the installations will be up all day.
